Will of the People

What do you call it when your leaders ignore the fundamental law of the land (US Constitution) and the will of the people (they do not want the health care package as it is; they do not want cap and trade, they do not support illegal immigration; etc.), by passing or trying to pass laws to enforce their own will? Yes, that is the definition of many government styles: fascism, dictatorship, monarchy, oligarchy, etc.. We in this country did not sign up for being subjects of a ruling class. Regardless of your position on the specific issues, you must recognize the clear and present danger of such tyranny. Thomas Jefferson noted that a tyranny of, numbers modified for our case, 435 Congressional representatives and 100 Senators, is no less a tyranny.
